So Far in the movie "Big Fish",William Bloom has returned to Spectre to be with his father in his last days. His father Edward is known to tell long intricate stories instead of the plain old truth. There's a scene in the movie in which Edward & his childhood friends visit a dark mysterious swamp to visit a witch. The witch sports a creepy glass eye, & the story behind it is that you can look directly into & see the way you die.
Throughout the stories Edward tells, you start to get a certain feeling about the town Spectre. It appears to be a perfect society & everyone seems relaxed living in this "Utopia". Young Edward ends up leaving to war, but promising his future wife Jenny that he'll be back one day.
